No sound from Audio CD

I tried making an audio CD in Easy CD creator everything went fine 17 tracks recorded and no problems, then as soon as I put it in a CD player all tracks detected and it plays but no sound...I put the CD in my HIFI still no sound tried playing it on the pc in media player nothing, all tracks are detected and length is fine just no sound. So I made it again using Nero 5 this time same problem...I'm guessing it's not software what could be causing this, another thing is that I can write onto CDRW with the drag n' drop function perfectly but I can't exactly make Audio CDs that way. please help

Have you had any prob's with this burner b4? Try with nero to see if that works. Have you experienced any trouble with this brand of media b4? If all else fails, check the cable running from the mobo to the drive as it might have become disconnected. Good luck.
