No sound from speaker after transformer replacement.

Hi, I have this 2.1 PC speaker which end up dead after a short circuit with the step down transformer being the issue.

I recently bought a new new transformer and replaced it. The speaker can now be turned on but no sound can come out for some reason.

The last time I tested with a small tramsformer, all the speakers and circuit boards were all good but the sound quality was very bad which is why I bought a new one.

So what could be the issue? Can anyone help me out? Could it be the specs of the transformer?

The specs on the original transformer is not visible anymore.

The new one has a writing on it which says :
12-0-12
2Ampere

Check sound settings on your PC, might have something turned off/disabled....

No, my PC doesnt have any problem. Its still the speaker because I have tested it on my phone too yielding the same result.
