Question No sound in games after game crash

Hello i just updated Darktide and when i launched it, it crashed immediately. now any game i play has no sound, not just steam games, but chrome and spotify work perfect. if any help would be appreciated, thank you.

reboot the pc?
reinstall the audio driver?
