No sound on dell xp

Hello,
Had to replace the sound card a while back. The other day i got the blue screen and had to wipe the c drive and reinstall window xp. Now the sound is not working and i used the original resource disc, but i think maybe it's trying to reinstall the old sound card. Help....

what soundcard did you get and is there a driver that comes with it? if yes just install the driver and it should work fine
