No sound on PC

So I bought a Dell Inspiron 660 and I tried to listen to music through the front panel connector then I realised it doesn't work. So then I tried the back panel audio connector (the green one) with no success. All I can hear through either of these ports is the test noise made by the Dell Audio software.

Any suggestions?

I'm using Google Chrome and Youtube to listen to music but there is no option to change it in the audio mixer. I also play Counter Strike and CS:GO is there but I still can't hear any sound from that
