Question No Sound since installing graphics card

I recently installed a NVidia GTX 580 and since install, I can run audio through the HDMI port on the Graphics card, my onboard audio always "not plugged in", I've tried audio jack detection, no change it separates all the inputs but the two i need are still "unplugged" according to windows, on top of that I cant access the realtek Audio Manager at all anymore, I'v e tried uninstalling and reinstalling, disabling all the HDMI audio outputs from NVIDIA, I have tried just about everything to be honest, even turning off the onboard audio in BIOS and turning it back on, It shows my digital optical outputs but they are just hissing when plugged in no audio, the same is true of any input jack on the computer just says "not plugged in"... is the card blown ? (would it not show at all, or motherboard wouldn't boot?)

Tried also running sfcscan from command prompt.
