No Sound [Steam-COD:AdvancedWarfare]

I recently finished downloading COD AW on steam and when I launched it there was sound. Then I tabbed out to turn the sound down and when I tabbed in again there was no sound at all. I tried restarting computer, verifying integ of game cache, updating sound drivers, and changing ingame sound options. Nothing helped, still stuck without sound. Ive checked my volume control aswell, even ingame. Still nothing. I really dont want to redownload/install a 55gb game either. COULD ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE!

ON PC of course.

Motherboard: Z87-G45 MSI Gaming Motherboard
Memory/RAM: 8GB Cosair Vengeance
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770
Processor: Intel i7 4770K
SSD: Samsung 500GB Solid State Drive
Power Supply: Corsair Professional Series 760 Watt Platinum Power Supply
Case/Frame: Cooler Master HAF 912 - Mid Tower Computer Case with High Airflow

Yes all other sounds work in all other games. The only sound source thats not working is AW. This is a pretty tough one im guessing 🙁

I had this kind of problem once with arkham city, reinstallation fixed that. You can wait for patches if you don't want to reinstall maybe they'll fix it. And yes, this is a pretty tough one.

Im using my Razer Kraken 7.1's and I already tried setting the audio options ingame to headphones. Still nothing 🙁 Audio for EVERYTHING works through them but now when I tabbed out and then tabbed in, all sound is gone from COD Advanced Warfare. Tried restarting etc... You can check in first forum what ive tried.

Well you say sound doesn't work only in COD:AW try login to your Razer Synapse maybe there is sound on low.

ive been looking about for a solution mate... theres plenty of topics on poor performance but i cant find much for audio glitches.
so you may have to wait a few days to get an answer.
you could in the meantime go to the audio settings and make sure its on 7.1 in game and 7.1 in your razer and windows control panel.
if 1 is set to sterio it may cause issues.

1 last thing the id engine has always had issues with realtech audio. if you have it on your system try disabling the driver and rebooting.
