No Sound then Lag

I'm playing my game, League of Legends. And during the game, the sound randomly shuts off. Whatever I do, I can't turn it back on. A few moments later, I start to lag in game. Only way to to sound back and to eliminate lag is to restart my computer. Please Help.

Sounds like you should try and re install your sound drivers.. (pun semi intended!!)
