As the title states, but with few exeptions.
First, my specs:
MBO - GIGABYTE Z170-D3H
CPU - i7 7700K
GPU - GIGABYTE GEFORCE RTX2060
RAM - GEIL EVO X 16GB (8+8) 3200 mHz
OS - WINDOWS 10; 1909; ALL DRIVERS ARE UP TO DATE.
Recently I've replaced my old monitor with LG ultrawide 34UM88-P with built in speakers.
Now here's the thing.
When connected through HDMI everything works fine, except AMD freesync capabilities. Also, I really need the single HDMI output from GPU for TV connection.
When connected throuh DP (DP to DP - single cable 1m), audio has a mind of its own. In some cases it works, in some it doesn't.
Desktop, browsing /youtube and local music/videos work fine. Some games work, some don't.
There is no option to change sound bitrate (it's stuck on 16bits, 48k) while on DP connection. Switching to HDMI opens other options.
In games where the sound don't work, using headphones is the only way. They work fine.
Any help would be appreciated.
