No sound through HDMI or Display port

Hello, I have been having issues with getting audio working on my monitors. The option for either of my monitors does not show up in my playback devices tab. I am able to get audio through my headphones. I think the issue is with my GPU but I have no idea how to remedy this.

1| Have you made sure your GPU drivers are installed with the latest revision? Similar for the audio drivers?
2| You will need to state your full system's specs.
3| What is the make and model of your monitors?
4| There are some documented cases where changing the cable from the GPU to the monitor helped.
