Hi!

I have a pair of speaker modules wired up to my MSI B450i motherboard's JFP2 4pin connector. I simply wired the positive and negative to speaker + and speaker - respectively. I cannot get any sound to play from these modules even though they are new.

Other troubleshooting:
Current Windows 10 update
Audio enabled in BIOS

You used wrong connector, JFP2 is for motherboard beeper used for troubleshooting, not for other sounds.
JAUD1 is for front speakers.

Thanks for letting me know! I am very new to speakers.

I am trying JAUD1 but I am still not getting any sound. I have Headphone R and L connected to my speaker's red/positive wire and both speakers black/grounds wired to the single ground pin. I even have Headphone Detection wired to ground but no detection.

I read online disabling front jack panel detection on the Realtek HD Audio Manager would help but after a whole lot of downloads and updating drivers automatically and manually I cannot get the manager to show up on the control panel or even find a .exe file.

Heey I got it working!!

Apparently all I needed to do was connect the sense pin to the headphone detection pin and let the realtek drivers I downloaded but cannot access do their thing.

These 8ohm arduino speakers are super quiet on max volume however. Trying to crank every slider up but they should be a lot louder than this from videos I heard.

Thanks so much for suggesting JAUD1!!!

Yes, computer analog outputs are of very low output power, on a level of a pre-amp, enough to drive standard headphones. That's why all computer bound speakers and sets have an amplifier built in.

Thanks!! I did some reading on the modules, I'll order one for next week. My school lab might have some mosfets/transistors I can use as a crude amplifier until they arrive. I cannot thank you guys enough for the help you are giving me.
