No source found on monitor after installing a new processor.

So I installed a new and Ryzen 2700x on my ASRock ab 350m pro4 motherboard but after starting it up there was no video input.
I reinstalled the old processor and it worked just fine. I of course have checked the compatibility with my motherboard.
I don't think I have damaged the new processor. I have checked if all the pins were intact.
Is there a way to solve this problem or is the processor broken?
Please help.

Your full system specs should be included when you post this kind of problem.

Your previous processor may have been an APU whereas the Ryzen 2700X requires a separate graphics card.

Incompatible BIOS would prevent the system from POSTing but you haven't said if it's POSTing or not.

By installing a graphics card and connecting your monitor to that.

Then temporarily install the Ryzen 1200 to allow the system to POST, then update the BIOS if that's the issue.

And you still haven't posted your full system specs - - - - still waiting (yawn).
