Hello,
I have an Intel DB75EN Board and my Zotac 1060ti 6GB card is covering the PCI-e 1x slot entirely.
I wanted to add a network card to it but i guess that i out of option. Should i get a PCI network card? Will that give better performance, net speed wise?
I have a 40mbps connection and want to do some live stream.

Thanks.
Shank

The board has Intel Gigabit Ethernet controller onboard.
Your PCI or PCIE ethernet controller will not be any better (probably not much worse either).
Forget about the idea. It will not give any improvement.

Why don't you use your integrated adapter? A pci card will be much much slower (but considering your speed would still be fast enough).

Thanks for the reply.
I want to see if a PCI network card could give better performance since i cant install a PCI-e card.
I dont know the difference between the two, performance wise. So if you or someone else could educate me,
It will help me make a decision.

Hi,
No wifi card. I have no need for it since i have a proper Wifi Router. I want to install a PCI card
and run an Ethernet cable to it, to see if would give better performance than the intergrated adaptor.
But before i purchase one, i want to know people's experience and knowledge.

It won't give ANY better performance if anything it will be worse.
