no start ups after blinking of cd rack

The pc began to start up after few seconds with blank screen blinking cd rack and start up red lights in cpu. Then the lamps died. No display in monitor . Restart button also has the same effect . F2 F10 buttons are of no use. cpu is 1 gb but ram is 2 gb.

If the PC is shutting off automatically after starting up then you probably have a hardware issue or failure. I would honestly recommend taking it in for service if you don't have a good amount of computer knowledge.
