No system beep

Okay I'm building a computer, I don't have ram, video card, HDD , or CPU. I have everything else. I kicked the comp on to see if PSU ( corsair's 850 ) and I didn't get a single beep. Really not stressing it since I'm missing 3 core parts but maybe someone knows if I'm supposed to get a beep or two. I get power, just no beeps. And I do NOT HAVE items listed

No, with no CPU the mobo won't initialize at all so there won't be any beep codes.
