No temp data from Dell 745 desktop; tried HWMonitor, SpeedFan, Core Temp

Just acquired a Dell 745 desktop and tried to get a feel for how hot the CPU was running at present (I am considering a possible CPU upgrade to a quad Q6600 or the like).

I downloaded three separate temp testers and received no data from any of them: HW Monitor, Speed Fan, and Core Temp.

Any suggestions?

So is there any way to monitor the temp? I've seen people posting here that in fact HW Monitor will report out the CPU temp, thus my confusion.
