I can enter the bios (Del-key during boot) but the screen connected over Displayport stays blank.
Is UEFI/Bios not supported over Dispayport?

Ok, I wasn't clear on that. Once Windows starts I have a startling picture. It is only during boot or in the boot menu the screen stays blank.

So you can boot into Windows, that's not a problem?

My PC most definitely can boot into Windows 10. Only the uefi menu is not shown.

In Windows try going into Control Panel > Display and see what your primary monitor is. Also try looking over your video card settings and see if there is a Primary Monitor setting in there.

Look over this forum post an see if it helps.

There is no primary monitor, only the one I specified.

There is no primary monitor, only the one I specified. BTW. Tried with a HDMI cable just now. No luck on the Sapphire nor the internal connection. I used to have the UEFI before I installed the graphics card.

Can you tell me the exact name of your motherboard. Only "GA-z170x", not "GA-z170x Gaming" or something else.

Its a GA-z170x. And sometimes the UEFI screen just shows up every boot. But that again, after I reconfigures something unrelated in the bios it is gone again. What seems to work is to plug the Displayport cable in another port (there is three in the graphics card one on the mobo). And before you ask it is a decent gold plated cable.
