I have a precision 3650 dell computer at work that I would like to outfit with a wifi/bluetooth card to be able to work from home. The precision 3650 motherboard diagram is here: Motherboard Diagram

I would like to install this wifi/bluetooth card: Wifi/Bluetooth Card

This card (and all others similar) require an extra USB2.0 header on the motherboard to utilize the bluetooth functionality of the card. I know that I could use a jumper from external usb port to a header like this: USB2.0 to Dupont

But that just seems like a very janky and jerry-rigged set up to go from the exterior to the interior like that and was wondering if anyone could come up with a reasonable interior solution to this! I could also be totally missing something obvious so let me know. Any help is appreciated!

That "EDUP" Wifi adapter uses the internal USB header for Bluetooth... for some reason.

This seems unnecessarily complicated. Either a PCIE Wifi/Bluetooth adapter:

Or USB device(s) - typically it'll be cheaper to have one for Wifi, one for Bluetooth - example(s):

Not enough info to know your exact model for the motherboard, but there may well be an M.2 slot

In which case, you could use that instead. Example:

Thanks for the reply! I probably will just end up using the pci-e slot card for the wifi, and then just getting a separate bluetooth dongle. I looked into the m.2 network cards that you mentioned, and this particular motherboard only has m.2 sockets keyed for M & B types instead of the A or E types needed for the network card. Bummer.
