No VGA / HDMI signal from motherboard, only GPU

My motherboard has an HDMI port and a VGA port, but nothing that I plug into either of those ports will work. I can only get a video output from my DisplayPort monitor connected to my GTX 1080. How can I get an extra display from the motherboard or CPU?

Specs:

Mobo: Biostar Racing GT z170gt7
Windows 7 Ultimate
Intel Core i5-6600k
GTX 1080
16GB RAM

Most motherboards disable integrated card when GPU is installed. Most also allow to change that and let you use both GPU and integrated card, by changing proper settings in BIOS. But without knowing your motherboard can't give more precise advice.

In BIOS, under Chipset and System Agent (SA) Configuration, change the Internal Graphics setting to Enabled. See pg. 19 of your BIOS document. Save and Exit. You can download your User's and BIOS manuals from here.
