No VGA monitor signal - graphics card works properly in device manager

Hi, really need help with this.

I get 3 beeps and no monitor signal.

New graphics card, R7850. New psu, cx600.

MS-7800 motherboard, a8-5500 apu with hd 7560d onboard graphics.

I've plugged a vga monitor into the correct port with a dvi connector.
The new card appears in device manager, working properly.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Google what 3 beeps means for your motherboard model, you don't really expect us to do it for you, do you?

Sorry, never occurred to me to look up beep codes.

1 long and 2 short seems to be monitor or display card error.

Incidentally, there are no empty power sockets on either the motherboard or the graphics card.

Don't understand how the card can be appearing in the device manager working properly. I've updated the drivers as well, by the way.

Found this for my bios (Aptio)

PEI beep codes.
3 beeps: DXEIPL was not found, DXE core firmware volume was not found.

Do I need a new motherboard to run this card?

Did it also say what this means and how to fix it? Its not necessary that you mobo went boom, you may just need to pop out your CMOS battery.

Hi,
There was no additional info.
Just tried the card on another pc with same type of pcie slot and it worked.

There's one circular battery on my motherboard, so I guess that's the cmos one?

Took the battery out for 30s. No joy, unfortunately.

What PCIE slot is it? is it a ver 2.0 or 3.0?
