Hi!
I bought an only VGA monitor months ago, and i have some problems with it.
I ordered my new PC, it will get here soon, but i will not be able to use it, because i only have VGA on my monitor, and there are no VGA ports on the video card.

However, it has a DL-DVI port, so i can use an adapter, and connect it to my analog monitor, but i heard, that these newer cards are not compatible with analog monitors at all. What can i do?

My VGA:

They do make a DVI-D to VGA adapter. I don't know how well it works personally, but I do know where I work we sell a lot of them. They are pretty inexpensive, so worth a shot before you go out and buy a new monitor.

But, you can get a pretty good monitor now for less than 100 bucks.

I have two of those monitors. They have HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs.
That dvi-i adapter will not work. You need an active dvi-d to vga adapter/converter. Dvi-i carries a digital and analog signal so passive adapters work. Dvi-d is digital only so it requires an active adapter to convert the digital signal to an analog signal.

Hello! An adapter should work just fine for turning your VGA into a DVI, Shouldn't be a problem there. Newer GPUs tend to be lacking a VGA port due to more improved HDMI and DP ports being more popular in recent and newer monitors. Just if you're buying an adapter, make sure you get the proper one. What I mean by this is there are 5 types of DVI cables/ports. Here is a link to the different ones and you can find out which one you'll need.

Just by looking at your graphics card the one you already picked out WILL NOT WORK, don't purchase it. You'll be needing a DVI-D (Dual Link) to VGA adapter. With that your problem should be fixed and you will be able to use your monitor with VGA cables.

Older cards output analog and digital signals, that's why you could use a cheap passive adapter to convert DVI-I to VGA. Now the cards only output digital(DVI-D), so the passive adapters don't work. An active adapter is what you need, those generally cost more than the passive ones.

Those passive dvi-d to vga adapters are pretty much worthless outside a few rare specialty systems. The 1060 does not have any ramdacs so it offers absolutely no analog signal at all which is why an active adapter is required.
