No vga signal

i recently built a new system and when powering on i got no vga signal. all of the fans started spinning and all of the lights work yet there is still nothing on my monitor screen. i plugged in a usb mouse and a keyboard and the lights on the mouse work. i get no post beeps and no signal on my monitor. i have a 2500k, gtx570 and a p67a-gd53 mobo. i've reseated the ram and made sure that there are no problems with the cpu and the lights on the motherboard show that the cpu is working. i haven't touched the cmos button and i've made sure that there has been no static damage. the buttons on the mobo work (the reset button and the power button on the mobo itself) the fan on the gpu spins and the gpu has lights which light up indicating that the gpu is working. i've made sure that all of the power cables are connected to the mobo (a 24 pin atx and a 8 pin atx) and there is power connected to the gpu itself ( a 6 pin and a 6+2 pin). i am using a modular power supply. i haven't seen the bios screen whatsoever. i've tried using a different monitor but there is still no fix and i've also tried using a hdmi cable with my tv and there is still no signal.


I've done everything on this checklist (stolen from another thread)

Read the manual, says nothing about problems/troubleshooting

Both 8 and 24 pins are connected

Breadboxed

Yes, vcards properly hooked up, no effect

Removing one or both sticks of RAM has no effect

RAM is properly seated

Tried the RAM in all possible combinations of slots, no effect

CPU 8 pin is in

CPU is seated properly (would it even go in otherwise) and I've tried reseating

No bent pins anywhere

Bareminimum of thermal paste used on seating


CPU fan plugged in and spins

Thermal paste went on clean, and the heatsink clip lever is tightened properly (way too hard to do that)

No beeps

Tried different cords and outlets for the psu, no effect

Used both the pin and battery methods, no effect

No integrated graphics. Graphics card not confirmed to work in other systems as i have no other system capable but everything like the fans and the lights seem to be working on the gpu

Everything is seated properly

I would appreciate all help

Looks most likely that you got a bad GPU.

the fans on the gpu spin up and the lights on the gpu light up. the lights on the mobo also light up and the buttons such as the reset button and the power button on the mobo itself also work. the speaker gives no beeps even when there is nothing in the system but gpu cpu and mobo and psu

Case speaker? It should beep when no ram or no GPU most likely the motherboard is bad then! If the card is faulty it will not beep if you have both ram and GPU installed except if you get a successful post.
