Just bought a pc for cheap to turn into a budget gaming pc. Everything seems to work and light up on case and motherboard power light But when I power it on there's no video no matter how its connected if its display port on motherboard, dvi on motherboard. Everything is connected and installed correctly. I wish I could test the the cpu and motherboard by swapping them out with others but don't have anything laying around. Things I've Tried so far but still no video signal:

  • Tried onboard graphics with DisplayPort and DVI
  • Tried graphics card HDMI and DVI
  • Replaced and Resetted CMOS
  • Switch with known working Ram and even tried different ram slots
  • Booted with No Ram all I get is 3 long beeps requiring install of ram and no signal
  • Unplugging everything except the necessary hardware.
Specs Motherboard: Intel DQ67SW
CPU: Intel I5 2500
GPU: HIS 7850 Ice-Q
Ram: 2x8GB A-Tech Ram
PSU: 80W bronze 550W HEC-550TB

Solution
Remove the graphics card and connect to the motherboard.
When a discrete graphics card is installed, the motherboard will direct the boot image to the card.
Possibly the card is faulty.
A 7850 normally requires a 6 pin psu connector.
Was that connected?
