Motherboard: MSI X570

I restarted the computer hoping to switch from windows 11 to windows 10 where I had other programs installed... Upon restart I reached the screen where I would normal choose OS, it looked different? Like the resolution was lower than normal... selected windows 10, black screen, have not seen any video from the computer since... I've tried reseting the Cmos, removing the GPU and trying to get the onboard iGPU to provide signal... No luck... Anyone have a guess? Thank you in advance for helping me with my problem.

msi x570 gaming plus
ryzen 3900
4080rtx
msi rm750x psu
64gd ddr4 ram
2tb samsung ssd, 128gb samsung ssd, 2tb seagate storage drive

I bought a rm1000x to see if that would change anything, no change.... The one thing I noticed is that the logo on the GPU isn't lighting up like it normally would but that is neither here nor there, I am not getting video from spare Gpu or onboard gpu.

I hear you but that wouldn't explain why when I tried another working GPU that nothing changed?
Thank you responding, I think now that I narrowed it down to the board having no onboard graphics, and the non working alternative Gpu... I can start to consider that it is indeed the motherboard, I think I fried the psi-e circuits

Possibly, if your 4080 lost power and PCIe can supply only 75W so I would also check PSU and it's connections. Those GPUs had problem with power connectors.

Well when the computer restarted the logo of gpu did not light up as usual. The MSI cards did not have the issues that the other cards had with power...it was actually the power connecting coming ajar that causes high resistance and then consequentially melting of the plugs. The msi cards are without that issue due to a better connector. I checked the connecter and it is not melted, to the best of my knowledge. I moved the card to different psi and moved SSD's around and caused the fault light to move from vga to boot. This fact and the fact the alternative GPU not providing signal makes me think its the motherboard. After resetting the cmos, changing power supplies, and trying an alternative low powered card, having no signal.... It could possibly be a pci-e cable... but I think its the motherboard... I guess I have some trial and error to do. Thanks for the input, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. If the pci-e circuitry is fried, this may lead to other issues, but also the lack of VGA when a good card is plugged in.

The issue has moved on to being a software issue? Possibly SSD issue> I have since replaced the motherboard with a z790 msi carbon a 1000watt PSU and a new cpu; i13900k... On start up I have the same issue, no video, from card or on board... and this time yes, the cpu has integrated graphics. With my video card installed I get no video and the light on the card does not light up as usual and with no video card installed I just get a blank black screen.
This new motherboard has some a reset bios button, I need to research it, but as far as resetting cmos, it would seem a new MB would not need it... given that this did not help on the other motherboard, I don't know if that is the ticket anyway.

I should probably start by removing both SSD's

Finally back into good standings. My TV needed to be reset... Something must have happened when the whole shebang went down. There was a reset option in the menus of my tv, I used it, finally got picture. I thought I was out of luck until I plugged in another monitor and achieved video.. then I thought I had fried the tv possibly but it just needed a reset...whatever that is....

The culprit that killed my old MB was XTBOX, it is a tweak type prog that seeks to "tune" things for better performance. It did something that my GPU/Motherboard did not like, which was obvious by the hard cycling I experienced between VideoGame and Desktop. Will not be using that again, mainly because I could not figure what exactly caused the issue and when I tried to revert the OS via saved registry, it bricked the OS.... So I had to reinstall windows to get rid of the hack.

In the meantime, I had an excuse to buy new gear, my sons get the hammy downs, everyones happy.

Hopefully someone will learn from my mistakes, thank you board, all is well now.

Btw my MSI logo light never turned back on, I figure the "shortage" or whatever happened likely cleared the settings to default off?.. not too worried about it.

Should have mentioned that your display is a TV as that's whole different ballgame.
