After shutting my desktop down normally yesterday it has not been able to send a video signal to my monitor. i have had my computer for about 5 years now and havent had a similar problem before.

After booting the monitor goes to sleep mode as if no input is recieved. The system seems to be booting fine though, as the windows startup tune can be heard from my speakers. Everything seems to be running too and all fans are po

I have tried two different monitors and tried switching the cable without any luck. Hereafter i thoroughly dusted off my pc. took out and re-inserted my graphics card into my motherboard. also tried reinserting both of my ram and booting with only one stick inserted. Also tried unplugging the power cord and holding down the power button for a minute but it dident fix it. I also took out and re-inserted my CMOS battery

I would love to provide system specs but i cannot remember them all and i cannot get into my pc to check all of it

gpu is amd radeon 7900
ram is 2x corsair 4gb
motherboard is asrock z68 extreme 3 gen

I read the two threads about what to do in this situation, but i dont see any other solutions i suspect to be the culprit

Solution
Since Windows is running, I'd say that CPU, board and RAMs do work. I suggest waiting for the card, and then further troubleshooting. Moving and removing components might add to the issue and not solve it.

I am borrowing one from a friend to test, but i will only get it in a couple of days, in the meantime any ideas or suggestions are welcome
