No video on first boot. Is this set up compatible?

I have an asus M5A97 R2.0 w/ AMD FX-6300, crucial ballistix 4gb, GeForce gtx 950. When I boot, all fans run and card readers boot but there is no video. I've done extensive forum hunting on this site and just can't seem to find out what's wrong. I've followed all the trouble shooting steps but nothing. Just wanted to see if I had incompatible parts, this is my first ever build, I appreciate any advice in advance

I've seen several similar posts regarding crucial ballistix and AMD setups. Try borrowing a different RAM module and testing.
