No video output after loop installation

Hi,

I installed my loop, installed waterblocks, bled, leak tested...everything looked good. I took the computer to my room and plugged everything in. Everything starts up, my mouse lights up (no keyboard, idk why), there are lights on the motherboard, fans are running, water is moving. But, the monitor says "no dvi output." I thought maybe it was because I had used another PCI-E express because it made my loop look a little cleaner. So I changed it to the old PCI-E express slot, but still nothing. The motherboard still lights up, fans move...

I tried to plug the DVI cable into the motherboard, but still nothing - but this was the case before as well(something with bios) But as of right now, I can't even get to the BIOS with this.

I am not sure if I am doing something stupid...or maybe I messed up installing some waterblocks...

Any help would be appreciated - I really don't wanna take apart my whole system - but I feel like I might have to and trouble shoot my way from there...

Mobo: Asus Maximus Hero VII
CPU: i5-4690k
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G Edition
PSU: EVGA 750 G2

Solution
The motherboard should default to integrated graphics w/ no GPU installed. No setting should need changed. May want to remove CMOS battery again to try. Also, just to be sure, everything worked fine before custom loop? Anything seem odd during install/conversion? High tension on fittings somewhere, small spill of coolant, screwdriver slip, something along these lines? Also, for stock cooler, is it attached correctly, as uneven tension on 1 corner can cause RAM slots to not function correctly.
Tried a CMOS clear by removing battery? Pushed in PCI-E slots correctly? Cables and RAM seated correctly? What GPU blocks are you using, a full cover block, or a universal? Any back plate installed? If so, make sure it's not shorted out on a solder joint on backside of card. Also, you sure you didn't over tighten GPU or CPU blocks?

Thanks a lot for the response. I removed the battery and let it stay out for a bit, and plugged it back in. Still no video. The PCI-E slots are in properly. All the cables are in properly, I made sure again just now. I am using a full cover waterblock without a back plate. I loosened all my screws a bit on both of my waterblocks, but still nothing is coming up.

Could I have possibly damaged something while trying to install the system? I can't really pinpoint anything that could've caused this. I mean...the BIOS screen doesn't even come up.

Sorry for triple posting. But I have the Supremacy MX - and I just realized I didn't put the BAS washer in front of the back plate. Will this cause any problems with the CPU it self...like shorting it out so it doesn't work anymore? At the moment I don't have time to apply the BAS washer cause of work, I will do it once I am home. I also changed the fan from CPU_OPT to CPU_FAN - I read that some mobos dont like to start up without the CPU_FAN port with a plug in.

The board should still start without a fan on the cpu_fan header, just give an error message. Still, worth trying though. For your BAS washer, was there solder joints on motherboard in contact with backplate? The washer would prevent a short if there was. This could be the problem, hopefully not damage anything though. Also, the mounting pressure would be incorrect/uneven from missing washer. May also be the problem.

I haven't had time to trouble shoot. I am going to install the stock cooler again and leave the pump/GPU unplugged. I will see if it works with just the bare minimum. If I had fried the motherboard, it wouldn't start at all correct? I am also going to plug in the mobo speaker to see what beep codes it gives me.

By the way I have an Asus Maximus Hero VII mobo - I will update the original post with some specs.

Okay, so with the stock cooler I still can't get the BIOS to show up. I am not getting any beep codes as well. Would I have to enable onboard graphics with the ASUS Hero Maximus VII mobo, or would it default to motherboard graphics?

I have a Q_Code of 55. This means that the memory isn't installed. I have reseated the RAM, as well as tried 1 stick at a time on different slots. I have also pressed the MEMOK button on the MOBO and it still doesn't post, but it stays lit red.

Do I need to try it with other RAM?

Solution
Okay, I just reseated the stock cooler and made sure everything was properly pushed through. My system is booting!!! This is awesome.

The Asus Maximus Hero VII has 2 red slots where my rams originally were. When I put the one ram in the slot closest to the CPU, the mobo keeps turning on and off over and over again without any POST or video. I have switched the ram to the 2 furthest slots away from the CPU and it is now booting my system. The PC also says I have 8 gigs of ram, so it is good.

I have tried the MEM OK button when it kept restarting and turning off, but I did not get any response from it - it just kept kind of turning on and off. I am not sure if I may have to go into the BIOS to get the other RAM slots to work...but as of right now it is working with stock cooler and the bare minimum.

I guess it is time to try to install the custom loop again - I am just happy to know my CPU is not fried.

Reinstalled watercooling loop - and it is working now. Thank you so much for all the help. Now I just need to mess around with settings and what not and try to overclock my CPU and GPU. Now cable management next, and gawk at my temps.

In the bios setting I put "CPU_FAN" to ignore, but I have something plugged it there at the moment.

Thank you so much again for the help!
