Hello,
I have an issue with my new PC. All components are new. Here is list of all components I'm using:
- RAM: PC-24000, 16GB, G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series, F4-3000C15D-16GVRB, DDR4 3000 MHz, kit 2x8 GB
- CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K BOX, s. 1151, 3.7 GHz, 12 MB cache, HexaCore, no cooling
- MOBO: ASROCK Z370 Extreme 4, Intel Z370, DDR4, sound, G-LAN, SATA3, M.2, PCI-E 3.0, USB 3.1, D-SUB, DVI, HDMI, ATX, s. 1151
- GPU: PCI-E GAINWARD GeForce GTX 1060 Phoenix, 6GB, DDR5, DVI, HDMI, DP
- SSD 250.0 GB SAMSUNG 960 EVO NVMe M.2, MZ-V6E250BW, 3200/1500 MB/s
- HDD 2000.0 GB SEAGATE Barracuda Guardian ST2000DM006, 7.200 rpm, SATA3, 64 MB cache, 3.5", desktop
- POWER: 650W Corsair RM650x, CP-9020091-EU, 80+ Gold, 135mm vent, modular
- CASE: KOLNIK Vault, MIDI. ATX, Window, black, USB 3.0, no power
I'm also using cooler for my CPU. I think it's ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 33 eSports Edition, s. 1155/1156/1150/1151/2011-3/2066/AM4 or something similar (it does support s.1151).
Monitor is AOC 31.5" Q3279VWF, Gaming, FreeSynC, 2K.

Description of problem: when I power ON my PC, I don't hear beep (I heard 3 in a row before when my RAM wasn't well placed). Everything seems to be powered on. MOBO has LEDs turned on, all fans rotate, GPU starts changing colors (I think it goes red, blue than green and stays green afterwards), all in all everything seems fine on the first hand. However, I don't seem to be able to get anything as video output.

I followed procedure for every component and I think every component is placed on suggested place and connected (except maybe there is something not connected as good as it should be).

What I have tried already:
- plug monitor both in GPU (it should go there) and MOBO (just in case) with different cables (DP, HDMI, VGA). Haven't tried DVI because I had none at hand
- when I get home from work I'm gonna try reinserting GPU just in case it did not fit correctly. Gonna do same with power cables (maybe some of the power cables did not fit all the way, but it seemed like they did) -> gonna doublecheck
- I haven't tried reseting CMOS, I had no jumpers at hand (might be some in packaging)
- I have tried powering ON with reset sw cable connected and disconnected just in case it loops reset (if I've connected it wrong). Could it power on if power cable was connected incorrectly?
- i have connected all this setup to power supply via older extension cord -> is it possible that i'm not receiving enough power?

So my real question actually is: do you have any suggestions or ideas what I could try to troubleshoot the problem?

Please and thank you,
Josip
