Good day all,

I just replaced my motherboard with a refurb, Asus Z97-AR. This made my computer mostly come alive again, but there's not video output. I didn't get anything from any of the ports of my GPU so I removed the GPU and tried the on-board one. I still got my monitor saying that there was no output, so I unplugged the computer, turned off the batter, removed the CMOS battery and held the power switch down for 30 seconds. Then I reassembled everything, still nothing. Did I get a bad refurb or am I missing something?

Thanks for any help!

Solution
Two bad video outputs is not common.
Tell us about your GPU - how it is powered, which slot it is in, and the Mfg. part number. It may help if we know the monitor type and connection.
New motherboard so did you reinstall windows?
