Just rebuilt my rig recently and upgraded to a 2k monitor. After a full shutdown when I go to turn it on again, the monitor wakes up and gives me a no signal message (using displayport) and does not show bios post and will not show a signal until after windows boots. System works fine on a reboot. Wondering if this is a system problem/monitor problem/bios setting issue.

System:
MB: Z390 Aorus Master
Chip: I9-9900K
Bios: F11C
GPU: Aorus 2070 Super
Monitor: Asus VG27AQ

Things I've tried so far:
Full DDU GPU driver strip and clean install.
New Displayport cable
HDMI cable (also late, showed windows boot and still missed bios)
Checked BIOS settings: UEFI, PCI-E 1 as primary video .
Hooked up an old 1080p monitor with displayport: did not have the problem.

Any help would be awesome, thanks!

Solution
So igp no problem, 1080p monitor also no problems. Think that you might want to look at settings for resolution.

Other option is try a clear cmos, see if this resets something.
