so im trying to optimize a game called titanfall... all guides tell me to turn on vsync in the nvidia control panel and then turn vsync off in game,.. but when i go to nvidia control panel there is no vsync option at all...

it should be right below the ''tripple buffer'' but there is nothing... anyone got a guess on what im doing wrong?

i got 760gtx if it matters... and know close to nothing about the inside of a pc -so you probably have to explain it slowly :)

Start over with the drivers. Uninstall your current ones, and then install the latest ones downloaded directly off the Nvidia website. This is the first time I have ever heard of this, so I'm sure it's not something wrong with your card or setup. Focus on the driver installation, and be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom of your "Manage 3D settings" tab.

If you turn on V-sync in the Nvidia control panel while titanfall is selected it will turn on in the game too, and when you turn it off, then it's off. So i don't really see what that would do. Also, V-sync in the control panel is by default on.

Personally i don't like V-sync because it makes the aim feel weird and a little "behind" where it should be if you know what i mean. Also, screen-tearing, which v-sync fixes is too bad, then you can put on some better graphics options. Screen-tearing is after all a product of a higher fps than your monitor can display.

Hope this can be of some help.
