No way to reset overclock

So basically I've ran into a little issue I overclocked the g3258 to 4.3ghz awhile back I've just tried to get it to 4.5 And didnt knock the voltage up enough so every time I boot up it blue screens on Windows I've got a msi pc mate motherboard and for some reason it skips the bios so I use msi fast boot so I can go straight to the bios from the application now I carnt get to the bios I've got a i5 4690k coming if this carnt be solved if I put that in will it reset?

A simple and effective way is to turn off the system, unplug it, pull the CMOS battery and wait several minutes, put it back in and the BIOS should be reset.

As above, clear the CMOS. You can also use the Clear CMOS jumper or button.

It basically does the same thing as resetting the BIOS to the default settings in the BIOS. All overclocks are cleared.
