No webcam device found

hey all

I have a laptop hp pavillion G60
there are no webcam at all

no device in device management
no device in my computer
no device in system information ( components )

I give him a repair from inside .. the cable is working and the mike also is working ( mike and webcam in the same board )

and when i install the best driver for this laptop for the webcam

IT tell me "No webcam device found"

"No webcam device found"
"No webcam device found"
"No webcam device found"

any idea

 
Solution
The webcam is faulty - a common problem on HP laptops. Because it is broken, Windows can no longer detect it, so it isn't shown in Device Manager or anywhere else.

If your G60 is still under warranty, contact HP to have it repaired. If the warranty has expired, buy an external webcam because the cost of getting the built-in one repaired will be very high.
