Hello,

The problem is as goes: I just bought a new laptop Acer Aspire E 15(E5-571G-579R) and since the beginning the laptop has had no wifi option. No wifi at Network connections and no driver found for it and also when I troubleshoot only thing that it tells me is that my enthernet cable is not connected. Toggeling the wireless on and off does nothing what so ever. I wonder if the chip in my latop is capable of wifi (picture of the chip: http://postimg.org/image/hpj8l7egj/ ). All help whould be greatly appriciated.

Tahnks for you time

Yes it has wireless: Atheros AR9565 802.11 b/g/n 1 × 1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0 combination adapter.

Try downloading and installing a wireless driver for that chipset from Acer if it does not show up in the control panel. Are you sure that the wireless is not turned off?

Your laptop should have an F key that works with the alt key and has a wireless symbol on the F key as shown HERE, although it sounds like you have already found that key.
