No Wifi render farm

Would it be possible to have a render farm for multiple computers not connected though a network and some how connected though a wired connection like an Ethernet cable? or would their be a way witch I could create a fake network that is not connected to the internet.

The reason for this is for Skills USA you can bring your own computers. For some of the competitions you cannot have any internet connected to your computer to prevent cheating. So would their be a way to connect the computers to the farm but have the farm have no connection to the internet.

Yes. Just connecting the render farms PCs to a switch would allow them to communicate on a single internal network. Just used fixed IPs and don't connect to an active internet connection. Very simple thing to do.
