No wifi signal or icon for aspire 4738z

I am uninstalling software the. Suddenly i was disconnected in the internet. I tried everything to connect to wifi. My modem is working but i cant find any network for internet. The wifi is absolutly off i tried clicking fn+f3 nothing, i went to sharing center>change adapter setting there is no icon eherr i can proceed so please help me..i have aspire 4738z window 7

Check Device Manager. If the wireless network adapter is not listed there, and there are no "unknown devices" listed (yellow question mark) and no other driver error icons shown, it most likely means that the actual wireless adapter hardware has developed a fault.

If the laptop is still covered by Acer's warranty, contact them for free repair. If warranty has expired then repair costs will be too high & it will be cheaper to buy an external wireless adapter that plugs in to a USB port.
