Question No windows Boot record on SSD

Hi i have a system that was left sitting for a while and when i try to boot it i get a "no disk found issue" or the BIOS cycles goes to a black screen and cycles.

I can enter BIOS and change settings but cannot enter windows. the bios sees the SSD but not the Windows Boot Manager. The SSD is configured as MBR.

i7 4790k
4+4 ripjaws red + 4+4 ripjaws blue
Asus R9-270x
840 evo (boot drive) partition type MBR
2* 1TB WD blue (RAID 0)
650W Ultra power supply 80+ Bronze semi Modular

When booting up, press the F key that allows you to select a boot drive and select the 840evo.
Which f-key it is is usually shown at the same time as the option to enter the bios.

Hey thanks for the reply, i already did that and cannot boot, i just get black screen and it cycles to the BIOS, like i said there seems to no longer be a windows boot manager

How about change the BIOS boot mode into "Legacy" ?

i Will give that a try, i believe it is already in legacy/uefi setting the only other setting is uefi only, i will have to check
