No words on buttons, GUI unreadable!!

i have an odd problem with my 2k server machine. after a day or so, when i try to do anything to it, the gui is unreadable. buttons have nothing written on them, when i go to start/programs, the whole thing is cut in half. ive never seen this before. its not the vid drivers b/c it was workin fine for a year. i updated them just to make sure. anyone know what this could be?

try to print the buttons, see if they will have something on paper... gg.

But seriously, what did you install before this started to happen? It is an explorer.exe thing, can do nothing but reinstall (fresh).

well, i ran a virus scan on it and i it found ~15 infected files. my brother transfered some files from his house to it. we'll see how it is in a few days.

hehe, you pplz are doing something weird, how did your brother managed to transfer "some files from ..house" and into the ..PC?(
