Hi all,
Here is my problem I am trying to watch my computer through my tv I have attached a HDMI cable from computer to my tv and even tried it through my DVD player but when I am pressing my source button on my TV all sources are saying no signal. I have even tried with a VGA Cable same result is there anything I need to change on my computer for the TV to pick the signal up I am very new to this and would appreciate the answer in simple terms as I am not very good on computer jargon. I have a Samsung 42" Plasma TV and a Acer Aspire windows vista computer. Please help its driving me mad.

Plug in the TV to the computer, reboot. Then go into Display Properties and check if the second monitor is there to be selected, that should be your TV. Click on it, and select "extend windows to this monitor", should come up then. You'll have to set the resolution to whatever your TV supports (manual will tell you that).
