Noctua CPU Cooler

I'm getting the AMD FX-8370 cpu and I dont want to use liquid cooling. So I was looking at the Noctua NH-U12S cooler and I was wondering if this will be good enough for the 8370

idle temp is 25
gaming temp is 35

Noctua NH-D14 and 15 are great performance coolers - be aware of the massive size though.

Would the NH-U12S be good for the 8370 though? Or would the cpu got pretty hot?

You don't need it bigger

The smaller models, are also great - i just wanted the best cooler i could get, thats why i bought the biggest model
You'll be fine with the NH-U12S

For a smaller cooler, I´d go with Hyper Evo 212 - it´s 1½ degree difference but priced at only $25. Price/performance and the need for a smaller cooler, CM Hyper Evo 212 is a great choice.
