I just installed a Noctua NH-C12P SE14 fan to my pc and i actually forgot to put the vibration pads underneath it, are those pads really necessary? I can't hear or feel any vibration in my pc. Reason i'm asking is because i have a mini-itx case and it was a bitch so install and i don't want to take it apart and put it back together if the pads aren't necessary.
Noctua CPU fan vibration pads?

You will be fine. I wouldn't even use the pads anyway, because assuming you got the same pads as I did, the fan wouldn't stay on the cooler securely (CM Hyper 212+).
