noctua d15s cooler on upside down

so i built my first pc the other day, and just realized i put the d15s upside down! i put it so the offset is towards my gpu... i honestly dont want to take it apart and risk damaging anything, you think i could just leave it like this? my gpu gets to 42 c while running games , and is 23 c while idle. i mean i would just re seat it but the whole thermal paste application too little , too much scares me.

The cooler is clearly doing its job even if it on the other way round. All it will depend on is the direction of the airflow. Which end it gets sucked in, and which end it blows out from. Depending on how your cooling is set up in your case, this will be the only drawback i can see.

It is awfully close to graphics card. If heatsink touches some element on pcb of the graphics card, it may get damaged.
I'd reinstall in correct orientation.

.. unless your graphics card has a backplate (looks like it has). Then you can leave it as it is.

its has a backplate, im also worried if i switch it around will the top fans fit? i have the enthoo pro m TG case with noctua 120mm fans uptop

i flipped it around , i had to take out 2 of the top fans for it to fit which kinda sucks but o well, my temps has rised cuz of the lack of upper exhaust fans
