Hello guys, im looking for my 280mm radiator fans. Im currently using the stock fans that came from kraken x61, and i find it really loud at more than 50% fan speed. I installed it on top of my H440 case in pull as exhaust.
Reading around, i found out that noctua makes the best fans out there. But im confused regarding which type of fans should i get. I tried looking for answer, but the answers vary, nfp nfa nff nfs, so i have no idea which fans fit my need.
i read some ppl say nfp is for pressure, nfa is for airflow, yet i checked on noctua website that nfp has been discontinued and replaced with nfa, and it even says nfa is pressure optimized fans.
There is no nff and nfs 140mm in my country. Whats available here are nfa14plx, nfp14 plx, nfp14 redux, nfa14 ippc at 3000 and 2000rpm, and also nfa15. Which of these fans are the most quiet, yet offer respectable performance?
As much as i want to try other brands, my country has limited fan brands, so my option is limited to noctua. I also have corsair here, but im pretty sure noctua is better.

The nf-a14-pwm (2 of those) are your best choice if you want them to be as quiet as possible. if you want performance you can look at the nf-a14-pwm industrial (either 2k or 3k versions). They will give you a really high performance, can be turned down to lower speeds and when turned down, have similar noise levels as the base version. So they give you performance when needed and silence when needed. However if you are never looking for significant performance increase, then the base versions are enough.
