News Noctua Launches $10 NM-SD1 and SD2 Screwdrivers

I appreciate Noctua representing the color blind community. Noctua is really sticking to that not quite poop brown, then clashing it with black even if it means losing 80% of their potential business.

Youtube statistics show channels like Gamernexus and LTT target 15-year-olds boys who like to game. Bright thumbnails with crazy faces, and easy to understand content.

They don't buy the screwdriver for the screwdriver, they buy it because they are fans of the people running those channels.

Actually, if everyone is doing sleek looking black or white fans with RGB lighting. It can be beneficial to stand out. Their message being. You buy us for quality not looks. They could lose business if they look like everybody else. Sort of like how Thinkpads have a no nonsense trademark look.

I bought the Williams ratcheting screwdriver on Amazon instead of LTT screwdriver. It fits all of my 1/4-inch bits (Wera has those long bits) and the precision, easy ratcheting, and substantial bit holding make it a fine tool. I even like the hollow end where I can throw a few bits in without having to slot them into place. As for regular screwdrivers, I am partial to Klein as their tips last and hold well (if only they didn't roll, heh)

Finally, someone taking on Snap-On's rapevan pricing ladder (they can still only go as low as $23.60 for a 6" T20). I suppose one should just be grateful it doesn't come with bloody RGB lights. Remember when we had a naïve vision/version of the future, marked by innovation and race-to-the-bottom price wars? Well, now a strikingly-mid cooler Mfg is distruting branded hand-tools, in competition with apparently some dude makes a living off ad revenue runnin' his mouth at a camera all day. Hell's teeth, is there no end to the march of mediocirty?
