Noctua NF-F12 for cooling cpu

Hey guys,
I would like to replace the fan on my msi Dragon cpu cooler radiator and have been looking at the Noctua NF-F12 PWM 55.0 CFM 120mm Fan. Would this be good as a radiator fan in push configuration

It is also pwm so if I plugged it into the cpu fan port would it work okay?

Short answer: Yes.

The Noctua NF-F12 is a pretty good performer, although it is built to perform well, while being quiet. If you what greater absolute performer, take a look at the Corsair SP120 Performance fan, at least.

I read some reviews for the corsair one and so many people are saying how loud it is...
I d rather not get another loud one, but thanks.
