Noctua NH D14 fitting in 1155 socket?

The Noctua website says that the Nocuta NH-D14 Cooler has a LGA 1155 compatibility. However, on the instruction manual, it doesn't. I've heard that you can... but can you?

Hi mate , yeah I'm pretty sure the Noctua will have compatibility with LGA 1155 , I researched around a bit and every site seems to include the 1155 apart from Amazon. So yeah
