I'm about to start my new build and decided to go with the d14 with my new ryzen 2700x. I am worried now though that this massive cooler is going to interfere with my gtx 1080 in the top pcie slot of my gigabyte aorus ultra gaming x470 motherboard, should I take it back and maybe get the d15s which apparently has better clearance? Does anyone know if its likely to be a problem?
Cheers

No because you have a top PCI slot meaning the GPU will be mounted below that in the first PCIe slot. I have two NH-D14s in two different ASUS motherboards (P8P67 Pro Sandy Bridge build and Z97-AR in a Haswell build). Neither have had any clearance issues except with ensuring the memory was lower profile and didn't have tall heat sinks. I even have a sound card in that PCI slot and it hasn't interfered with either my GTX 970 in the Sandy or GTX 1080 Ti in the Haswell. Also check your case depth. In both builds and two different case makes and models, there is little room left to the side door.
