Noctua NH D14

I have a Noctua NH D14 for my 2011 socket, and I will probably move to the 2011-3 socket and buy this motherboard:
MSI X99A GAMING 7

I want to know if I can use my old noctua fan of the 2011-3 socket.

The NH D14 is not on the compatibility list for that motherboard. If you can get the LGA2011 mounting bracket for it you should be able to use it.
