Noctua NH-D15 too heavy for transport?

Hey, I've been thinking about upgrading my CPU cooler that could cool my i7 8700k good enough to about 4.8-5GHz-ish for a while now, I just don't know which one I should upgrade to.

I was going to buy the Noctua NH-D15 because of everyone recommending it but I was just worried about the weight that comes with it and I am afraid that it can break my motherboard (Asrock z370 extreme4). Especially when transporting the PC. I tend to go to LANs whenever I'm free and I'm just worried that the motherboard would break when going to one.

I've heard that taking the noctua out of the case is recommended but that feels incredibly annoying to do everytime I'm going to a LAN. That is taking out the heatsink, removing the thermal compound and applying new EVERYTIME. Any recommendations as to what I should do?

you could build a foam inset (the type you can cut out into shape) and block form it to your opening, generating the "form fitted shipping packaging that would prevent the heat sink from yanking side ways at your motherboard.

of course the simpler solution is lay the computer on is side with heatsink standing up... :)

What kind of AIO would you recommend then? I would prefer one that is very quiet and would be able to push the i7 8700k to about 4.8-5GHz-ish with a stable cpu temp.
