[SOLVED] Noctua nh d15 which way to place?

Whats the best way to have my noctua fan blowing the air in a coolermaster h500 case? going up or going trough the back?

Ill be building my first pc when all the parts come, will it be easy to know how and where to put the fans/cooler facing?

If you're not adding to the 3x preinstalled fans, then the D15 should be front-to back.

If you are adding fans, I'd say experiment a little.
Scenario 1 - NH-D15(front to back)
Front intake: 2x 200mm
Rear exhaust: 1x 120mm
Top exhaust: 2x 120mm, 1x 140mm, or 1x 140 and 1x 120

Scenario 2 - NH-D15(bottom to top)
Front intake: 2x 200mm
Rear exhaust: 1x 120mm
Top exhaust: 2x 120mm or 2x 140mm

I could go on, but I'll stop there for now.

The case fans are preinstalled as such:
2x 200mm front intake
1x 120mm rear exhaust

Mounting the D15 vertically won't be as efficient without some top exhaust fans - also, you'd have to move the gpu to the 2nd PCIE slot, or you'll have to remove the front fan to make it fit.
